I'm a full-stack programmer passionate about DevOps with twenty-five years of experience. I founded Upfront Software in South Africa in 1998. Since 2020, we have consulted full-time for Six Feet Up, where I am a crew leader of the Architect's guild. I have made it my mission to improve the developer experience and workflow of the teams I work with.
I love dog agility and attended the IFCS World Championships in 2017, 2018, and 2019 with Sumo. We won a silver and two bronze medals, and placed 3rd overall in 2019.
I am a long-distance and endurance runner and completed the Cape Town marathon in a time of 3:59 in 2022.
I live on the east coast of South Africa in Gqeberha, more commonly known as Port Elizabeth. My son is turning sixteen this year and wants a 125 cc motorcycle for his birthday.
